Britons are looking to find a property near ski resorts, as buy-to-let mortgages, one expert has revealed.
Simon Malster, managing director of Investors in Property, stated that Switzerland is proving to be an attractive location for investors looking to find mortgages.
On the outskirts of the Verbier ski area, Les Collons could be a prime spot for those looking to generate extra cash from their mortgage near the piste, he also said.
"Les Collons suits them [mortgage hunters] very well - it’s quiet and you have very nice views," he remarked.
"For the same kind of money as you’d be spending on a two bedroom apartment you could buy a four or five bedroom chalet.”
Additionally, Mr Malster asserted that those with a buy-to-let mortgage looking to generate rental income will find it "easy enough" to attract renters during the season.
Although he noted that mortgages near the slopes never offer a guaranteed income, many that have taken this option are reaping better-than-expected returns.
Investors in Property enables Britons to find a mortgage abroad, claiming to offer 20 years of experience in the field.
