Murcia property buyers could seek international mortgages

International mortgages may be one of the most pressing concerns for individuals looking to buy property abroad, and Murcia in Spain has been earmarked as one of the best places to invest in.

The Move Channel has pinpointed the region - which lies in the south-east of the country - as one of the most in-demand areas for would-be home purchasers at present.

According to the group, La Manga, Mar Menor and Caragena are among the destinations proving most popular for UK buyers.

International mortgages may therefore be a top priority for individuals looking to move abroad and Dan Johnson, director of The Move Channel - which has been in operation since 1999 - said that Spain is still "the number one country in terms of enquiry volume to the site [August 2011] but we have seen a rise in searches for property in Murcia province ... in particular".
