Panama might be a destination worth exploring for international mortgage customers looking to buy abroad.
According to thepanamareport.com, the Central American nation offers a great blend of opportunities and security that is hard to find.
Founder Matt Landau explained that Brits will find that the country is an ideal place to invest in overseas property.
"Infrastructure is stronger than anywhere else in Central America, the government is stable, the currency is the US dollar - this is generally considered a good thing - and the location is extremely connective," he said.
"As for property itself, foreigners in Panama are granted the same rights to ownership as locals and there are a number of immigration and tax incentives to invest."
Mr Landau added that the small investor visa and 20-year tax exoneration are just two of these and claimed that the market is "green enough to offer tremendous investment opportunities" without being completely untested.
